Chicago Bears halfback Ray McLean became the last player to drop kick for an extra point before the drop kick was no longer used.  The Chicago Bears defeated the New York Giants, 37-9 at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Illinois.  On January 1, 2006, New England Patriot quarterback Doug Flutie drop kicked for an extra point, but it was only for a lark.
