In game 5 of the World Series, Bill Wambsganss, playing for the Cleveland Indians, executed an unassisted triple play, the first in World Series history.  The Cleveland Indians beat the Boston Robins (Red Sox), 8-1.  The game was played at League Park in Cleveland, Ohio.
