An American Basketball Association double header was played at the Coliseum in Denver, Colorado. The two teams that played in the first game were the Kentucky Colonels vs the Washington Capitals. Kentucky won 139 – 127.  The Denver Rockets played the Los Angeles Stars in the second game.  The Denver Rockets beat the Los Angeles Stars, 123 – 116.
