At the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee, United States President Richard Nixon appeared at the Billy Graham Crusade in Neyland Stadium. 800 students carried “Thou Shalt Not Kill” signs into the stadium. Many were arrested and charged with disrupting a religious service with only Republican candidates on the stage with Billy Graham and President Richard Nixon.
