Kareem Abdul-Jabbar of the Los Angeles Lakers became the all-time scoring leader in the NBA as he reached a career total 31,421 points during a game with the Utah Jazz, eclipsing the record held by Wilt Chamberlain.  The game was played at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Utah Jazz, 129-115.
